Course One: WADEPS Overview and Requirements
Provides a foundational understanding the legislative requirements and what use-of-force incident data is to be shared by agencies with WADEPS. Available to active commissioned officers and others as assigned through CJTC/Acadis. Approved for 1.75 hours of in-service credit.
Officer completion rates for Course One are part of the agency compliance data publicly which will be reported on the WADEPS dashboard.
Intended for: Recommended for all law enforcement officers in Washington state and professional staff as appropriate.
Length: Approximately 1 hour 45 minutes
How to access:
Log in to your CJTC account. Contact your agency training coordinator if it is not visible in your CJTC student profile.

Course Two: Data Entry for the WADEPS Reporting Tool
A walk-through demonstration of the WADEPS Use-of-Force Incident Reporting Tool will be available in CJTC/Acadis to agency points-of-contact on Friday, July 25. Agency leaders may assign the course to additional personnel as appropriate for their organization .
Intended for: Personnel responsible for entering and/or approving use-of-force data in the WADEPS system.
Content Includes:
* Module 1: Officer Dashboard and Create a Record
* Module 2: Batch Upload
* Module 3: Supervisor Dashboard
Length: Approximately 1 hour to complete all three modules.
